Still another common variety of boils is Hidradenitis suppurativa. This is a condition wherein you will be affected with lots of abscesses which usually grow under your armpits and your groin. The growth of this skin abscess is due to the local swelling of your sweat glands. In order for you to treat this infection, you need to follow an antibiotic medication. If the condition gets worse, you may have to opt for surgical procedure. Your sweat glands will have to be removed to keep the swelling from occurring again and again.

The last well-known type of skin abscess is pilonidal cyst, which grows within the creases of your buttocks. This infection usually starts as small infected areas to the upper skin layer of your hair follicles. The growth of pilonidal cyst may be due to prolonged sitting from long journeys.

When you want to treat your boils, you can do it with hot packs in order to stop or lessen the inflammation. On the other hand, you can also choose to take in medication. However, you have to remember to approach your physician first before you take in any medicine. Your doctor will be able to provide you with the proper treatment in order to stop the problem right away, without putting you in further harm.
